Program Coordinator, King’s Chapel
Living Memorial
King’s Chapel Boston Part-Time | Non- Exempt
About King’s Chapel
King’s Chapel is one of the oldest churches in the United States, rooted in Boston’s civic and spiritual life since 1686. In recent years, the congregation has committed to a deeper reckoning with its history, including its ties to enslavement, and to pursuing reconciliation grounded in truth-telling, faith, and accountability. Through historical research, congregational reflection, the unveiling of Unbound, a memorial to enslaved persons, and the launch of the Living Memorial Initiative, King’s Chapel is engaging its past while looking toward a future marked by inclusion, public engagement, and shared moral responsibility. This work reflects the church’s hope for growth both within the congregation and in relationship with the wider community, at the intersection of faith, history, and justice.
