Development Manager

Overview:

The Legacy of Life Foundation is a faith-based nonprofit rooted in Catholic theology that provides life-affirming care and support. As our Development Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational engine of the development department. This role focuses on implementation, systems, and follow-through. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that campaigns, communications, events, and donor processes are executed accurately, on time, and with excellence so the organization can grow and serve more families.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute the Development Plan: Implement campaigns, appeals, events, and donor communications as designed by leadership.
• Own Development Operations: Manage the mechanics of fundraising including timelines, calendars, task tracking, and cross-team coordination.
• Data & Systems Management: Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM; ensure gift entry, acknowledgments, reporting, and data integrity are timely and correct.
• Campaign Support: Coordinate mailings, digital campaigns, events, and follow-up workflows from start to finish.
• Team Enablement: Support the Development team by keeping projects organized, removing operational friction, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Reporting: Produce standard development reports and dashboards for leadership and the team.
• Vendor & Production Coordination: Work with printers, mail houses, and other vendors to ensure materials are produced and delivered on schedule.
• Process Improvement: Document and refine development workflows to increase efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2–4 years in nonprofit development, advancement services, or operations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
• Comfortable working in databases/CRMs and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This role is the operational backbone of the Development department turning plans into action and ensuring the work gets done well, every time.

Position Details:

• Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
• Work Location: Warminster, PA (In-Person)
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:55 am – 5:00 pm with limited evenings and weekends (as needed)
