Project Overview
SAADA, the leading source for South Asian American history, seeks a highly qualified Market Research Consultant.
In partnership with SAADA, the consultant will assess the market for intergenerational storytelling products and services for immigrant communities. By understanding the landscape of existing offerings, we will determine the viability of expanding Memory Bucket—SAADA’s forthcoming intergenerational storytelling board game—into a broader market.

Scope of Work
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis on intergenerational storytelling products and services for immigrant communities by surveying existing platforms, identifying gaps in service, and analyzing pricing models
- Review demographic trends and funding landscapes across target immigrant communities
- Analyze and recommend potential avenues to expand the market for Memory Bucket
Deliverable
A market analysis report that synthesizes research findings and provides recommendations for market expansion, including demographic insights, funding opportunities, and sustainable partnership models.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in market research and demonstrated work with immigrant communities
- Strong analytical and research skills

- A detailed proposal including methodology, timeline, and team composition.
- A budget that shows a clear and detailed breakdown estimate of fees for services. Note that SAADA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. If your estimate is discounted from commercial rates and/or includes volunteer work time, please be sure to note this clearly in the proposal.
- Work samples of 2-3 projects that demonstrate extensive market research and cultural sensitivity.
- A list of three references who can speak to your market research expertise and collaborative working style.
