Join Our Team: Lead Marketer & Content Strategist Wanted! If you are an inventive, results-driven marketing leader who knows how to punch above your weight class and build movements — not just audiences — this role is for you. As Senior Content Marketing Manager, you will serve as the editorial and digital voice of the Center, with a clear mandate: grow our top-of-funnel reach, drive new entrepreneurs and funders into our ecosystem, and do it with inspiring creativity backed by the strategy of a seasoned professional.
You will lead our social media presence, oversee our digital marketing and events leads, and build content engines that attract underrepresented entrepreneurs and prospective funders who have never heard of us — and turn them into believers. You thrive in lean environments, are relentless about testing unconventional tactics, and know how to measure what matters.
This is a senior role that sits at the intersection of storytelling and growth — and you will shape and lead its success and impact.
Responsibilities
Top-of-Funnel Growth Marketing
- Own top-of-funnel growth as a primary KPI — setting measurable targets for new entrepreneur reach, prospective funder awareness, and audience acquisition across all channels.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive outsized awareness with limited budgets: creative activations, unexpected partnerships, viral content plays, and community-driven growth strategies.
- Develop differentiated content and campaign strategies for two distinct top-of-funnel audiences: underrepresented entrepreneurs discovering the Center for the first time, and prospective funders and corporate partners evaluating mission alignment.
- Build and continuously optimize a growth funnel in HubSpot — tracking how new audiences are acquired, nurtured, and converted into program participants, community members, and funder relationships.
- Identify and test emerging platforms, formats, and distribution tactics (short-form video, creator partnerships, earned media, events-as-marketing) to expand reach beyond existing audiences.
Content Marketing & Social Media Leadership
- Lead the Center’s overall content marketing strategy, ensuring a cohesive, mission-aligned narrative across all owned channels — social media, email, website, and multimedia.
- Oversee and manage all social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms), with a focus on audience growth, engagement, and top-of-funnel reach.
- Develop and govern a multi-channel content calendar that integrates social media, events, digital campaigns, and funder/sponsor storytelling.
- Generate, edit, publish, and curate compelling content — original writing, video, graphics, and thought leadership — in partnership with the communications and fund development teams.
- Act as the team’s subject-matter expert on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and digital best practices.
Team Management
- Directly manage and mentor the Social Media Coordinator and Digital Marketing Lead, providing clear goals, regular feedback, and professional development support.
- Oversee the Events Lead, ensuring event programming is supported by integrated digital promotion, on-site content capture, and post-event storytelling that feeds the top-of-funnel.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture grounded in creativity, accountability, and a growth mindset.
- Partner cross-functionally with the communications, programs, and fund development teams to align content and digital marketing with organizational priorities.
Digital Marketing & Events
- Oversee the Center’s digital marketing efforts — paid social, email marketing, SEO, and web content — with a clear eye on driving new audience acquisition and funder awareness.
- Manage HubSpot as the Center’s marketing hub: build and maintain contact lists, workflows, campaign tracking, and top-of-funnel reporting dashboards.
- Ensure events — both virtual and in-person — are leveraged as top-of-funnel moments, with marketing plans that maximize new audience reach before, during, and after each event.
- Develop content strategies that spotlight the expertise of sponsors, funders, mentors, and expert networks, positioning the Center as the essential platform for entrepreneurial access and education.
