    to create enriching arts experiences, engage diverse communities, and preserve historic theaters. We are committed to promoting diverse arts participation by removing barriers. Our performances include Broadway shows, concerts, comedians, dance performances, and speaking events. Additionally, our Education and Community Engagement (ECE) Programs offer small classes, workshops, and summer camps for community members.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    STG is seeking a highly skilled data specialist to join our team. In this role, you will enhance the organization’s ability to use data effectively across all departments. Your work will be critical in optimizing and evaluating the success of our programs. By making recommendations and implementing systems and procedures for improvement, you will directly contribute to our ability to communicate the value of all our programs. This is a full-time position that earns $68,120-$102,190 with a midpoint of $85,155, plus medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, and STD Insurance, as well as paid time off and a 403(b)-retirement plan with a discretionary match.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the development and maintenance of STG’s business processes.
    • Improve STG’s data and processes for customer acquisition, service, and retention, including being the subject matter expert for Salesforce.
    • Identify, develop, and implement secure solutions to maintain and enhance the performance of STG’s CRM (Salesforce) / front-end systems (e.g., Ticketmaster ticketing platform), as well as Form Assembly, to achieve the operational goals of all departments.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with various organizational stakeholders, the IT Manager, and external consultants to design structures and systems, ensuring the smooth operation of data collection and management systems.
    • Manage secure data collection and storage, including identifying and developing opportunities to make data more accessible to team members.
    • Work closely with all departmental partners and the senior leadership team to interpret data about our patrons and program participants and draw insights that can translate data into actionable insights. Inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate on creating organizational reporting dashboards, including updating key outcomes and indicators.
    • Identify and develop other opportunities to improve our processes for collecting, managing, and interpreting patron/participant data and applying it to strategic and programmatic decision-making.
    • Lead and assist in the creation/implementation of automated forms, as well as the effective use of Salesforce.
    • Train all stakeholders to use Salesforce and Form- Assembly effectively.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Be a self-starter who is both detail-oriented and a big-picture strategic thinker.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Prior experience in the arts (box office, marketing, patron services, or development) strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge of relational databases and experience in report building.
    • 2+ years of collecting data for ticketed, non-ticketed, in-person, and virtual programs.
    • Experience with Salesforce and Form Assembly required.
    • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar data visualization tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, forging strong relationships with STG staff in all departments and levels of the organization.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clearly translating and presenting evaluation, research, and data concepts to non-evaluators.
    • Strong project management skills, including determining the appropriate scope, processes, workflows, and timelines to accomplish projects and meet deadlines without issue.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and high-priority requests.
    • Passionate about advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in the arts and culture and the evaluation and research discipline.
