Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters (ALLFED) is an effective altruism aligned organization that is an alliance of three nonprofit entities with charity status (in the US, UK, and Australia) and has team members in over a dozen countries. Its mission is to build resilience to global catastrophic food system failure. ALLFED currently operates under a collective directorate model, with four directors/heads of department sharing executive leadership responsibilities rather than a single CEO.

The CEO will take the overall charge of ALLFED and:

• Work with the Board to support good governance practices and to maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including IRS 501(c)(3) regulations.
• Oversee and work closely with all members of the executive management team.
• Lead interactions with other organizations and key partners.
• Lead development and implementation of ALLFED’s strategy, plans, and programs.
• Take responsibility for financial sustainability.
• Safeguard relationships between ALLFED’s sister entities (ALLFED’s Alliance).
