    Descrição

    Organization Overview:

South Asian American Voter Empowerment Texas Education Fund’s (SAAVETX EF) mission is to strengthen voter engagement in Texas by educating and empowering our electorate.

SAAVETX EF provides a positive environment where volunteers, staff, and the Board of Directors believe that voter engagement and empowerment of South Asian Americans in Texas

is beneficial to our community, our state, our country, and our democracy. SAAVETX EF is a fiscally sponsored project of NEO Philanthropy, Inc., a non-partisan, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

    Position Overview:

SAAVETX Education Fund seeks a strategic and results-oriented Program Manager to coordinate and implement statewide initiatives across Texas. This role will ensure alignment and programmatic synergy across major metropolitan regions, including, but not limited to, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.

The Program Manager will lead the execution of civic engagement, voter education, get-out-the-vote, digital outreach, community engagement, and volunteer development efforts.

A central responsibility of this position is strengthening community capacity statewide by cultivating local leadership, supporting regional teams, and building scalable systems that sustain long-term impact. The role will also develop strategic partnerships and coalitions that expand SAAVETX Education Fund’s reach, while advancing issue-based advocacy aligned with our mission and values to promote safe, inclusive, and thriving communities.

We seek a candidate committed to community-driven change and democratic participation, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable statewide outcomes.

    • Strategy, Planning & Execution
    • Develop, implement, and continuously refine SAAVETX EF’s statewide civic engagement and GOTV strategy to maximize voter education, engagement, and turnout.
    • Design and execute targeted outreach initiatives — including phone banking, canvassing, digital campaigns, and volunteer mobilization — with clear goals, timelines, and contingency plans.
    • Lead project planning and execution by establishing measurable objectives, guiding cross-functional meetings toward defined outcomes, and tracking progress against performance benchmarks.
    • Standardize operational systems, workflows, and best practices to ensure program consistency, legal compliance, financial accountability, and accurate reporting to leadership, board members, and funders.

    Community Partnership & Coalition Development

    • Lead the development of strong, mission-aligned coalitions with community organizations, advocacy groups, and partners who share a common vision for equity, civic participation, and representation.
    • Identify and cultivate meaningful, long-term partnerships that build collective strength, expand shared impact, and position SAAVETX Education Fund within broader statewide movements.
    • Strategically convene and align partners around common goals, ensuring collaboration results in coordinated action and measurable outcomes.
    • Represent SAAVETX Education Fund in coalition spaces and external forums with clarity, credibility, and a commitment to building durable, values-driven alliances.
    • Develop and implement an ecosystem approach to power-building that strengthens local communities, connects regional efforts statewide, and positions SAAVETX EF within national networks and strategic tables.
    • Build integrated relationships across local, state, and national partners to ensure coordinated strategy, shared infrastructure, and sustained collective impact.

    Data Analysis & Decision-Making

    • Develop dashboards, reporting structures, and evaluation frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability to leadership, board members, and funders.
    • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform program strategy, guide outreach efforts, and drive continuous improvement across statewide initiatives.
    • Demonstrate strong judgment and initiative in making timely, mission-aligned decisions, particularly in dynamic or high-pressure environments.
    • Apply creative and collaborative problem-solving to address complex interpersonal, organizational, and systemic challenges while fostering a culture of learning and adaptability

    Adaptability & Growth

    • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving civic and political environment, adjusting strategies as conditions change.
    • Embrace feedback and new information to continuously strengthen programs, partnerships, and internal systems.
    • Take initiative in identifying emerging opportunities and challenges, proactively adapting plans to maintain momentum and impact.
    • Contribute to a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth across the organization.
