The Admissions Assistant/College Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Office of Admissions. This position assists with application processing and review, as well as general response to inquiries from prospective students and applicants. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and customer-service focused, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Assistant/College Assistant will:
- Supports selection process activities, such as application review and verification of information
- Represents the School at virtual events and participates in campus-based admissions activities
- Works closely with staff and faculty across the School to help ensure a seamless transition for entering students
- Responds to student inquiries by email, phone, text, and in person
- Assists with daily operations, including transcript and document processing
- Provides consistent information to current and prospective members of the campus community
- Supports projects designed to improve service delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Performs related duties as assigned
Preferred Minimum Qualification:
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, certificate or college-level coursework from an accredited college or university
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience working with CRM systems – experience with Technolutions Slate a plus
- Experience working with non-traditional and transfer students
This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of January 10, 2027.
