Provide Direct support services to clients, assisting them to develop and achieve their individual support plan goals for their physical, psychological & social well-being.

Manage a small staff team dedicated to enhancing client wellbeing.

Ensure a nurturing and stable home environment for the clients.

And create opportunities for fun and laughter.

Committed, stable relationship; couples only may apply. A bachelor’s degree in related field is desirable but not mandatory. The ability to complete a clear background check via DDS live-scan & a current California driver’s license.

The teachers are responsible for the whole life planning of the clients within the Family Home. The teacher serves as a guide and mentor, thus utilizing the most humane ways to increase freedom, abilities, and knowledge of the person. A Family teacher will see the potential abilities in each client with regards to well-being, safety, community participation and personal growth. The Family Teacher works to protect and promote civil and human rights in all areas of life.

The successful candidates will have essential and desirable qualifications in education and experience in social work, direct support professional, psychology, education, psychiatry or vocational nursing, experience either personal or professional, working or living with people with developmental disabilities. Experience or education in program management, fiscal management, and organizational development.
