    Descrição

Job Title: Director of Business Performance & Innovation

    Supervisor: Managing Director

    Location: Cap-Haitien, Haiti

Role Description: The Director of Business Performance & Innovation (BP&I) is a pivotal leadership role at Care 2 Communities (C2C), serving as the senior leader on enterprise-wide business efficiency and growth strategy. The Director of BP&I will turn data, performance insights, and strategic analysis into decisions that strengthen and scale the C2C’s operational model. This position ensures that C2C’s business operations are efficient, strategic, forward-looking, and – critically – prepared for scale. The new Director of BP&I will professionalize and streamline C2C’s systems, strengthen financial and operational controls, and leverage digital tools and data to build internal capacity to support C2C’s ambitious expansion trajectory in Haiti.

    Responsibilities:

    Scaling Strategy:

    • Lead C2C’s expansion strategy within Haiti by developing and overseeing the multi-year growth plan to launch 12 new clinics within 4 years.
    • Develop and implement a methodology for defining and evaluating the addressable market for C2C’s clinic model in Haiti, identifying the best growth strategy within the market.
    • Refine and optimize the market assessment process, using data to inform decision-making and unit economic forecasting.
    • Build and implement unified systems, processes, and decision frameworks that enable the organization to scale effectively while maintaining clinical quality, operational excellence, and accountability.
    • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with rapid expansion, ensuring that resource allocation, timelines, and readiness criteria are realistic and that new clinics launch successfully.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure expansion plans integrate community engagement, clinical operations, supply chain, finance, and human resources considerations from the outset.

    Financial Leadership:

    • Oversee all organizational financial operations, including enterprise and clinic-level budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Design and institutionalize robust systems for financial planning, performance monitoring, and cost analysis that enable data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
    • Lead financial modeling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives, service-line expansion, and long-term business planning.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, and financial service providers, ensuring transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment.

    Partnerships:

    • Serve as the lead external partnerships representative for C2C, building and maintaining strategic relationships with the MSPP, donor agencies, partner NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
    • Elevate C2C profile and positioning within Haiti as a leader in health delivery innovation.
    • Identify and manage partnership opportunities that advance C2C’s mission, optimize service delivery, and leverage alignments between peer organizations.

    Data & Analytics:

    • Develop and oversee an operational data strategy that strengthens operational and financial decision-making across all C2C clinics.
    • Lead analysis of operational quality, patient volume, sales, cost structure, and program outcomes to identify opportunities for improved performance and social impact.
    • Build simple, reliable data systems (dashboards, reports, KPI frameworks) to drive business excellence and understanding across the leadership team.
    • Partner with leaders and domain managers to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data collection and reporting.
    • Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations that can be easily understood by non-technical staff.

    Special Projects:

    • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives that advance C2C’s growth, efficiency, and innovation goals.
    • Design, launch, and manage pilot programs (e.g., payment innovations, digital tools, partnerships) and evaluate their feasibility and impact.

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in business operations, administrative management, finance, or a Chief of Staff role, with significant leadership responsibilities.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).
    • Proven track record of managing complex business operations functions (finance, HR, IT, procurement) within a dynamic environment, preferably in a non-profit or social enterprise, but relevant private sector experience will also be considered.
    • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant compliance.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
    • Essential: Deep familiarity and extensive experience working within the Haitian business and administrative context, with a strong understanding of local regulations, cultural nuances, and professional networks.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise delegated authority effectively.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including local teams, international partners, and the Board.
    • Ability to thrive in a resource-constrained environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability.
    • Fluency in Haitian Creole and French is required; strong working proficiency in English is essential.
    • Commitment to C2C’s mission and values, with a passion for driving systemic change in Haitian healthcare.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor and build the capacity of local teams.
