Position Summary: The Deputy Director of Organizing is a senior leadership role responsible for strengthening CUFFH’s organizing infrastructure, managing staff, and advancing housing justice campaigns. Working closely with the Director of Organizing, this role supports the development and execution of strategy, builds member power, and ensures strong, coordinated implementation across campaigns.
At the core of this position is a commitment to building tenant power to fight displacement, improve housing conditions, and win long-term solutions to the housing crisis. This role centers on organizing tenants across rent-stabilized, subsidized, and other targeted buildings; developing grassroots leadership; launching and strengthening tenant associations; and advancing tenant-led campaigns.
