Job Summary:
The Email and Web Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining an engaging web and mobile presence that supports United Way of King County’s marketing, communication, fundraising, and racial equity goals. The position is one of two roles that lead across departments ensuring that our message is consistent and reflects United Way’s marketing and communications strategies. The position creates and executes email campaigns to deliver our message effectively while safeguarding the health of our domain. The position supports the organization’s website as well as overseeing other hosted websites that serve targeted audiences. The Email and Web Administrator is responsible for supporting online fundraising and giving campaigns. The role serves as the liaison to external vendors to ensure an up-to-date design as well as day-to-day operations including updating content. The position contributes passionately to United Way’s mission to bring the community together to work toward racial justice.

Job Scope:
The position encounters frequent new and varied work situations. The work involves a high degree of complexity based on the responsibility for managing the development of new web applications and the responsibility for an increasingly complex and interactive website. The position determines own practices and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts. The position operates with minimal supervision. Decisions are sometimes made by group process format and sometimes on an independent basis. The supervisor reviews work decisions on a general basis. Decisions are made within general organizational policy constraints.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Job is not supervisory in nature. The position may occasionally be called on to supervise temporary staff.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, specializing in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline. Must have at least three years’ experience in web-based product development. Email deliverability and CRM experience a necessity. Experience with ClickDimensions highly desirable.
Job Conditions:
Position works under frequent time requirements/constraints and performs extensive close work using a computer. United Way King County operates a hybrid workplace with all employees able to work a combination of remote, on-site, and off-site
