    The Program Manager for Trust Administration (Trust Administrator):

    The Program Manager for Trust Administration (internally, called "Trust Administrator") role ensures that every client knows they are not alone - and that their needs are met with empathy and attention to detail.

    You will help create a positive, trusting experience by ensuring our clients' needs are thoughtfully addressed. This positions support the well-being of our clients by making sure they receive the attention, respect, and care they deserve.

    The Program Manager for Trust Administration manages a broad portfolio of special needs trusts, and works closely with clients and the Trust Administration Team to ensure trust funds are administered legally and according to the trust documents. This position will ensure that clients’ needs are met. Truly, the Program Manager for Trust Administration supports clients to help them them live their best lives!

    A Typical Day May Look Like This:

    • Communicate and collaborate about clients’ needs with clients and their family members, guardians, advocates, medical professionals, attorneys and accountants, and governmental agencies.
    • Manage and administer assigned special needs trusts.
    • Manage discretionary distributions for clients.
    • Represent FMDT at professional conferences and trade shows.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 3-5 years' experience in nonprofit program management, financial services, or trust administration
    • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Commitment to our mission to serve the disability community
    • Exceptional client service skills
    • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
    • Proficiency with Excel; Outlook; and Word (and ability to learn new financial software systems)

    It’d Be Great If You Have (but not required!):

    • Knowledge of public benefit programs (such as SSA, SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid or waiver programs)
    • Prior Experience working with trust administration

    This Position Offers:

    • Annual starting salary range of $55,000 to $62,000, commensurate with experience
