ABOUT THE ROLE
The Program Operations Manager thrives on thoughtful logistics and creative problem-solving—balancing details, deadlines, and impact with ease. You’ll manage the operational heartbeat of Rockwood’s programs: scheduling trainings and trainers, booking venues, determining event details, and ensuring that each program space runs smoothly and reflects Rockwood’s values.
You’ll be part of the Program Operations Team, which supports the logistics for Rockwood’s core programs. You bring structure and adaptability, delight in refining systems, and enjoy turning feedback into improved processes.
Rockwood is working to embody a Pro-Black, Pro-Indigenous, anti-white-supremacy culture as an organization. This means you bring a critical, equity-informed lens to event planning—ensuring that every training space is inclusive, accessible, and aligned with Rockwood’s values. You anticipate and address barriers so all participants feel respected and welcomed.
The salary for this full-time, remote, exempt position is $73,500. Rockwood offers a 32-hour full-time Monday - Thursday workweek with occasional work on Fridays as needed.
We care about your wellbeing, growth, and success. As such, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and accident insurance; an HSA and an FSA; a $1,000 annual wellness stipend; and a 403(b) retirement plan with 3% employer matching. We also offer org-wide professional development opportunities (including attendance at one of our own Art of Leadership programs) and, separately, a $1,000 stipend/year for professional development.
This position requires that candidates live in the U.S. and have U.S. work authorization. Annual travel for a team retreat and some travel for site visits and scouting venues will be required. Because we work remotely, it is crucial that you have access to a place from which you can work with a reliable internet connection and no disruptions.
