    About Texas For All and Texas For All Education Fund

    Texas For All is the 501(c)(4) electoral and alignment table in Texas. We are a group of organizations working together across movements, issues, and geographies to drive coordinated member education, planning, messaging, and strategies to achieve a multiracial democracy where all Texans—regardless of race, place, or background—have the freedom to reach their full potential.

    Texas For All Education Fund is the 501(c)(3) table working to build a democracy in which all Texans are represented, engaged, and thriving. Through education and advocacy, we champion a shared vision for Texas and equip, unite, and mobilize Texans to lead meaningful change.

    Our c(3) and c(4) entities complement each other to strengthen the progressive ecosystem in Texas. Together, we:

    • Build Power: Coordinate and amplify the efforts of member organizations, ensuring sustainable leadership and progress across issues such as protecting access to abortion, advancing climate justice, fighting for civil rights, and securing the freedom to vote.
    • Engage Communities: Lead and support community engagement to reaffirm and strengthen a shared vision for Texas.
    • Champion Progressive Policy: Co-create and fight for a policy agenda that moves Texas toward a more just and equitable future.
    • Shift Narratives: Research, test, and align member organizations around shared narratives that unite Texans and tell a more complete story of the state.

    The Role of the Political and Organizing Director

    The Political and Organizing Director will lead Texas For All’s integrated political, electoral, and year-round organizing strategies. This role requires a proven campaign strategist who can independently run the mechanics of large-scale political programs, build and maintain strong coalition relationships, and ensure alignment between our political and organizing work. The Director will manage the development and execution of electoral campaigns, support long-term base-building strategies, and bring data-driven rigor to all political & organizing efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    Political Strategy & Campaign Management

    • Lead the execution of the Texas For All electoral program in partnership with member organizations.
    • Oversee campaign mechanics: targeting, voter contact, field operations, paid media, mail, and compliance.
    • Serve as a resource to Texas For All members as the design and execute their individual programs.

    Organizing & Movement Building

    • Develop and execute year-round organizing strategies that strengthen our progressive base and expand grassroots infrastructure.
    • Support member organizations’ organizing efforts, ensuring alignment across issue campaigns and geographies.
    • Foster deep relationships with community leaders, coalition partners, and grassroots organizations to advance collective power.

    Data, Targeting, & Evaluation

    • Oversee voter targeting, field modeling, and data analysis to drive campaign strategy.
    • Ensure high-quality use of data across political and organizing programs, including reporting and evaluation.
    • Support member organizations in building data proficiency and integration.

    Leadership & Collaboration

    • Serve as a senior leader within Texas For All, providing political and organizing expertise to the Executive Director, Deputy Director, and coalition partners.
    • Represent Texas For All in state and national spaces, advancing alignment and collaboration.
    • Provide strategic guidance to partners while balancing organizational goals with coalition needs.

    Key Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have at least 5 years of experience in political campaigns, progressive nonprofits, or organizing work, with direct campaign management experience.
    • Demonstrate deep knowledge of electoral mechanics, including field, paid media, mail, compliance, and data systems.
    • Have a strong track record of coalition-building and working across diverse partners, communities, and geographies.
    • Show experience leading or supporting year-round grassroots organizing programs.
    • Possess advanced proficiency with campaign data and voter file systems (e.g., VAN, Catalist, TargetSmart, or similar).
    • Be highly self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining accountability to coalition partners and internal leadership.
    • Demonstrate commitment to racial, gender, and economic justice.
    • Bring excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary between $90,000-$100,000
    • Remote position within the Texas
    • A range of 25% of in-state travel is required. Some weekend and evening hours will be required.
