Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time High School Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate has an interactive approach to teaching that encourages the reading and studying of unedited texts and culture in an environment where students share ideas collectively; enjoys collaborating with colleagues and sharing ideas and activities that are student-centered and that put the students in command of their own learning. An MA is preferable as well as teaching experience at the high school or college level.
Abraham Joshua Heschel School, located in New York City, is an independent, pluralistic Jewish Day School, N-12, unaffiliated with any single movement or synagogue.
