ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our Client is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders by creating awareness, recruiting stem cell donors to provide a second chance at life, raising funds to match donor registrations costs, and supporting the improvement of blood cancer therapies by our own research.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Web and Search Strategist manages the organization’s website, search visibility, and web performance across channels. This role is responsible for website management and maintenance, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, answer engine optimization, and web analytics to support the nonprofit’s marketing, communications, fundraising, and engagement goals.
RESPONSIBILITES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day website operations, including content updates, page builds, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain website functionality, structure, accessibility, and user experience.
- Support SEO strategy to improve organic visibility, search rankings, traffic, and content discoverability.
- Implement GEO best practices so content performs well in AI-driven and answer-based search environments.
- Track, analyze, and report on website and campaign performance using analytics tools and dashboards.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications, development, and donor recruitment teams to ensure web content supports organizational priorities.
- Maintain tracking standards, conversion goals, tagging, and attribution practices.
- Work with internal staff or external vendors on technical improvements, integrations, and enhancements.
- Ensure the website reflects brand standards, accessibility expectations, and current messaging.
- Recommend data-informed improvements to content, navigation, landing pages, and conversion paths
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in web management, digital marketing, SEO, or a related field.
- Experience managing websites using a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, GEO, web analytics, and conversion optimization.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with basic front-end development concepts.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and tag management platforms.
- Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Commitment to mission-driven work and the goals of a nonprofit organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a nonprofit, advocacy, education, healthcare, or public-interest setting.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive digital practices.
- Experience with A/B testing, landing page optimization, and audience segmentation.
- Comfort working with vendors, developers, or agency partners
