Do you want to advance racial and economic justice while tackling climate change?

Join an innovative nonprofit organization, All In Energy, working to expand access to climate solutions and green jobs across the Commonwealth. Our mission is to accelerate an inclusive clean energy economy. We work hand-in-hand with cities and local community organizations to connect communities of color, non-English speakers, and renters/landlords to energy-saving programs and affordable renewable energy. These programs help families save money, make their homes healthier, and combat climate change.

The Programs Data Analyst role is embedded within the Programs Department to

analyze and interpret program data to strengthen program delivery, improve accountability, and support organizational learning. The role serves as the primary program-side steward of the Programs Department’s internal oversight tools, ensuring dashboards, trackers, and reporting views are accurate, accessible, and aligned with program needs.

The Programs Data Analyst works as an integrated subject-matter partner across the Programs and Data & Product teams. The role stays closely connected to the Data & Product team to understand existing systems, definitions, and reporting logic, while working day-to-day with program teams to gain insights to understand the story behind the numbers and to support leadership to translate data into timely, actionable insights that support implementation decisions and operational learning.

This role is focused on internal analysis to support program implementation, learning, and staff coaching. Priorities for the role are set in collaboration with the Senior Director of Programs to ensure focus and sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Implementation Reporting & Analysis

The Programs Data Analyst develops and analyzes program-facing reports and dashboards to help teams understand how programs are being implemented, ensure data quality, and identify risks or opportunities early. This role supports timely decision-making and program improvement by providing clear insights and summaries for program managers and leadership.

Data Quality Improvement & Feedback Loops

The Programs Data Analyst works with program teams to improve data quality, clarify data-tracking practices, and recommend workflow improvements.

Internal Learning, Coaching & Data Reviews

The Programs Data Analyst supports program managers and directors by preparing data summaries for coaching, reflection, and learning conversations, participating in internal and partner-facing data reviews as a thought partner, and helping teams use data as a tool for learning and improvement rather than compliance or performance policing.

    Cross-Team Coordination, Documentation & Enablement

The Programs Data Analyst stays closely connected to the Data & Impact team and other departments to understand existing data systems and reporting logic, supports internal data needs using current tools, and creates documentation and training that help staff interpret dashboards, use program-facing reports effectively, and onboard into program-side data practices.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Commitment to racial, economic, and environmental justice.
    • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, program evaluation, analytics, or a related field (professional or equivalent applied experience).
    • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, data validation, formulas, and working with structured datasets.
    • Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce or a comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including understanding how data is structured and connected; creating and modifying report types; running, exporting, and interpreting reports; and translating CRM data into meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and program performance insights, or demonstrated ability to learn comparable CRM reporting environments.
    • Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, or structured reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce dashboards, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms).
    • Highly organized, with strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently with guidance, including asking questions and seeking out support as needed.
    • Experience operating in a cross-functional environment, partnering with multiple teams to gather requirements, clarify priorities, deliver analytical support, and collaboratively resolve data issues.
    • Ability to translate data into clear, accessible insights for non-technical audiences, including supporting learning, reflection, or coaching conversations.
    • Clear, effective communication skills, including the ability to take requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into analytical plans.
    • Ability to manage multiple data sources and prioritize competing requests effectively.
    • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid role, with approximately 20% in-person time in the Lawrence office.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with technical concepts such as CRM automation, custom fields, or reporting logic (not required).
    • Experience supporting program evaluation, grant reporting, or internal learning initiatives.
    • Experience training or coaching staff on data tools, dashboards, or data-informed practices.
    • Experience working in nonprofit, housing, municipal, utility, or community-based program settings.
    • Experience contributing to strategic planning or supporting leadership in interpreting data for higher-level decisions.
    • Experience designing or stewarding internal oversight tools or operational reporting systems.
    • Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Khmer, Vietnamese, or other languages commonly spoken in Environmental Justice Communities in Massachusetts.

We encourage candidates with a wide range of lived and professional experience to apply. Even if you don’t meet every qualification, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

All In Energy is an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity. In particular, we’re dedicated to broadening opportunities for individuals from demographic groups that are historically underrepresented in the clean energy economy. We’re committed to building an inclusive workplace culture where talented people of widely diverse backgrounds can thrive.
