    Position Summary:

    Corporate Leadership Center is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to provide administrative and operational support to our leadership programs. This role may also serve as the primary or support administrator of our CRM system, Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and optimizing its use across the organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and excels in managing multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the entire team are essential to success in this role.

    Please note before applying: Candidates must be based in Chicago or the surrounding Chicagoland area. This is a primarily remote, part-time contractor position averaging approximately 10–15 hours per week, with occasional required in-person support for meetings, programs, and events. Compensation is $30–$35/hour, and this role does not include employee benefits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Support

    • Prepare program materials - including speaker bios, briefing documents, agendas, name tags, tent cards, etc.
    • Organize and maintain digital files on SharePoint and other systems of record
    • Assist in communication with participants, speakers, members of our participating companies and vendors
    • Assist with program management tasks, including independently managing task lists, deadlines, program logistics and necessary follow-ups
    • May require some support for program and alumni events, including attending and assisting at some events, which may require limited evening work
    • Support the program recruiting process, including researching the status of our alumni and other key individuals

    Salesforce Management

    • Timely enter and edit data, keeping information accurate and up to date
    • Generate necessary reports
    • Collaborate with the program teams to manage updates and troubleshoot issues

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as an administrative assistant in a remote environment, or similar role
    • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented work with minimal oversight
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A self-starter who is comfortable supporting multiple team members including executives
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn
    • Knowledge of Airtable and Canva a plus
    • Must be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and applications, including AI
    • Interest in leadership development and curiosity about our programs, participants, participating companies and content, including a willingness to occasionally observe our program modules

    Status:

    • Part-time / hourly (average approximately 10 - 15 hours a week) contractor position with variability based on program schedules
    • This position will report to the CEO Perspectives Program Manager but will support both the CEO Perspectives and LWE programs
    • There is an expectation of reasonable availability during regular business hours.
    • The work will be performed primarily remotely, with certain in-person participation in meetings, leadership programs and events required. Candidates must be currently based in Chicago or the surrounding Chicagoland area to be considered.
    • The estimated hourly range for the job is $30-$35 per hour.
    • Reliable home internet connection and home office setup required

    Corporate Leadership Center (CLC) cultivates dynamic business leaders through its two executive leadership development programs, CEO Perspectives and LWE. We are a small, agile and energetic team of professionals that deliver high-quality programs and events for executive leaders of Fortune 500/1000 and select growth companies. Our organization is dedicated to building relationships and growing our powerful community of business executives and thought leaders. The team of nine currently consists of a CEO, Finance and Administration Director & Treasurer, Finance Manager & Assistant Treasurer, Accountant, and a Director, Marketing and Communications who work across both programs, as well as an Executive Director and Program Manager for each of the two programs.

    • About CEO Perspectives: CEO Perspectives is a unique leadership development experience for executives reporting to the CEOs or preparing to transition to the C-suite in the near term. The year-long program is delivered over six, two-day modules held in downtown Chicago. The curriculum is interactive, featuring candid conversations with leading academics, thought leaders, and sitting CEOs and Board Chairs, as well as collaborative discussions among participants. CEO Perspectives also offers ongoing alumni engagement, fostering continued peer networking and learning opportunities.
    • About LWE: LWE is a leadership development experience for leaders who are advancing to executive leadership roles. The program is held twice a year, with a Spring and Fall cycle. Each program cycle consists of three, multi-day modules – a blend of in-person and virtual sessions. The program is a highly curated, personalized and collaborative experience that focuses on leadership skill building, organizational support and ongoing networking. LWE also offers ongoing alumnae engagement and digital resources to foster ongoing learning and strategic networking.

    Benefícios

    This role is compensated at $30–$35/hour, based on experience, with an average of 10-15 hours per week. Please note that this is a part-time contractor position and does not include employee benefits.
