InvestED has been partnering with school districts across Washington State for over 60 years, providing emergency funding for students in need. What started as a single gift to a Seattle high school so that a student could afford a winter coat has grown into support for over 47,000 students across 700 schools per year. InvestED raises funds that are distributed to schools and relies on a network of nearly 2,000 trusted educators to distribute those funds to students who need extra support. From clothing to school supplies to ASB cards and activity fees, from health care and hygiene products to graduation expenses and college application fees, InvestED funds are used by educators to eliminate hurdles many students face getting to school, engaging in school, and graduating. With no paperwork or red tape to slow the process, InvestED empowers educators working directly with students to take immediate action on behalf of at-risk students.
