Mission
InvestED provides immediate help for students in need, encouraging them to get to school, stay in school and graduate. We partner with over 650 secondary schools in Washington State each year with item-specific, need-based funding to significantly impact student attendance, engagement and GPAs. The items purchased depend on the the individual student's needs and can include academic fees, shoes, sports equipment, glasses, warm clothing and renting musical instruments. Our InvestED team is dedicated to helping even more students achieve their full potential. By 2020, InvestED is committed to providing $2 million per year to students in need.
In the 2017-2018 school year the program helped almost 25,000 students by distributing almost $925,000 in funding to over 650 schools.
