The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is looking for an HR Technician I to join our team. In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful HR work while continuing to grow and develop your skills. This project-based position is expected to end on April 1, 2028.
What Will You Do?
- Play a key role in shaping the employee experience and supporting a culture of equity and inclusivity.
- Manage full-scope recruitment for half of the agency, working closely with another HR Technician to attract top talent.
- Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize HR systems and operations.

Minimum Requirements
- Three years of relevant HR experience, along with a passion for finding top talent
- Knowledge of HRIS, process improvement strategies, and HR policies are highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Work Schedule
This position requires working onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the first 90 days. After that period, remote work will be available on Mondays and Thursdays.
