How You'll Contribute:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user support. This role is key in supporting business operations and ensuring uptime across all critical systems.
What You'll Do:
Install, configure, and maintain physical servers and workstations (Windows/MAC).
Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks.
Ensure network security by implementing appropriate policies and tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
Assist in managing antivirus, patch management, and endpoint protection solutions.
Provide tier 2/3 support to users and escalate complex issues as needed.
Monitor ticket queues, document resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate hardware lifecycle management.
What You'll Bring:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3-6 years of system administration or related IT experience.
Experience with enterprise IT environments and support.
Technical/Skills:
Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell.
Familiarity with networking protocols and equipment (TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls, etc.).
Experienced sysadmin with Microsoft o365
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Creating best practices documentations and standard operation procedures
Experience Supporting Business Applications
Establish back up protocols
Knowledge of SolarWinds ticketing system
Windows and Apple product device management experience
Previous help desk experience with Asset management tools.
Strong Trouble shooting skills
Attention to details
Ability to work independently and team
Experienced soft skills
Strong written communication
Ability to follow internal instructions
Ability to research solutions
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Certifications, CompTIA Network+ / Security+
