Black Farmer Fund seeks a full-time Communications Associate to support the Communications Department in building and maintaining the organizational capacity needed to advance our mission and vision. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Associate will play and hands-on role in shaping how our story is told, creating content, managing our communications calendar, supporting digital campaigns, and keeping our public-facing platforms accurate, engaging, and values-aligned.
This role is ideal for an early-career communications professional who is a strong writer, digitally fluent, highly organized, and energized by mission-driven work.

This is a remote, full-time position. Successful applicants must reside in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region, with the expectation of 5%–10% travel for in-person events and workshops (travel is fully covered by Black Farmer Fund, Inc.). Applications from candidates residing outside the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic will not be considered.
