Field Sales Representative Part-Time | Boston, MA | Commission + Minimum Wage

About the Role

We are building a platform that helps restaurants reduce excess food and reach new customers, and we need a driven, outgoing person to bring Boston's restaurant community on board. You will be our boots on the ground, walking into restaurants across downtown Boston, building relationships with managers, and closing sign-ups.

This is a great role for someone who thrives on face-to-face interaction, loves the hustle of hitting the pavement, and wants their paycheck to reflect their results.

What You'll Do

• Visit restaurants in the downtown Boston area in person and pitch our app to owners and managers
• Build rapport quickly and handle objections confidently
• Guide restaurants through the sign-up process on the spot
• Track your outreach and signed accounts in an organized way
• Report progress directly to the hiring manager

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable walking into businesses cold and asking for the decision-maker
• Persistent: you don't give up after the first "no"
• Organized and self-directed; you manage your own route and schedule efficiently
• Strong verbal communicator who can explain a value proposition simply and clearly
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Must be persistent and highly organized, with the ability to manage your own outreach log independently
• Must live in the Boston area
• Prior sales, canvassing, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required

Compensation

• Base pay in Massachusetts: $22/hr for 10 hours per week, scheduled 2:00 PM–4:00 PM daily (Monday–Friday)
• Commission paid per restaurant successfully signed up, plus a bonus for every restaurant that completes a listing
• Quota: minimum of 1 signed partner per week during the first 30 days
