    About NOMV:

    Not One More Vet (NOMV) will transform the status of mental wellness within the profession so veterinary professionals can survive and thrive through education, resources, and support. We serve every member of the veterinary community with support services including: vet tech students, veterinary students, support staff, vet techs, and veterinarians. We also serve pet parents with education and empathy for the wellbeing of the veterinary teams that keep their beloved pets safe and healthy.

    About the Position:

    The Development, Marketing & Partnerships Associate supports NOMV’s fundraising, marketing, communications, and partnership development efforts. This position helps expand NOMV’s reach and financial sustainability by cultivating relationships with donors, corporate partners, veterinary organizations, sponsors, and other stakeholders while supporting marketing and communications that increase awareness of NOMV’s mission and programs.

    The ideal candidate is an organized, relationship-focused professional who is comfortable moving between fundraising, marketing, outreach, and revenue-generating activities. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, communicating a compelling mission, and helping turn ideas and connections into sustainable organizational support.

    Key Responsibilities

    Development & Fundraising

    • Support implementation of NOMV’s annual fundraising and development strategies.
    • Research and identify prospective corporate partners, sponsors, foundations, donors, and other funding opportunities.
    • In collaboration with leadership, Conduct outreach to prospective partners and donors and coordinate follow-up activities.
    • Assist with donor cultivation, stewardship, acknowledgments, and ongoing communications.
    • Support fundraising campaigns, giving initiatives, sponsorship opportunities, and special events.
    • Maintain accurate donor, prospect, partnership, and development information in Salesforce.
    • Assist with development reports, proposals, presentations, sponsorship materials, and other fundraising collateral.
    • Track development activities, prospects, commitments, and follow-up needs.

    Partnerships & Business Development

    • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships within veterinary medicine and related industries.
    • Conduct outreach to veterinary organizations, corporations, conferences, educational institutions, and other prospective partners.
    • Help develop sponsorship packages, partnership opportunities, and other mission-aligned revenue opportunities.
    • Coordinate meetings and follow-up with prospective and current partners, along with leadership
    • Support stewardship of existing corporate and organizational relationships.
    • As requested, represent NOMV professionally in meetings, conferences, networking opportunities, and virtual events as appropriate.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and program staff to identify opportunities to promote NOMV programs, including VMHS, CLEAR Blueprint, education, outreach, and other initiatives.

    Marketing & Communications

    • Support implementation of NOMV’s overall marketing and communications strategy.
    • Assist with social media, email marketing, newsletters, campaigns, website content, and other communications.
    • Develop and coordinate promotional materials for programs, partnerships, fundraising campaigns, and events.
    • Help maintain consistent messaging, branding, and organizational voice across communication channels.
    • Work with staff, contractors, and external partners to collect stories, program updates, outcomes, and other content.
    • Help promote corporate partnerships and sponsorships while ensuring recognition aligns with partnership agreements.
    • Monitor basic marketing and engagement metrics and assist with reporting on campaign performance.

    Sales & Revenue Support

    • Help develop a pipeline of prospective sponsors, partners, and organizations interested in NOMV programs and services.
    • Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with qualified prospects.
    • Support presentations and conversations about sponsorships, organizational partnerships, educational opportunities, CLEAR Blueprint, and other appropriate revenue-generating programs.
    • Maintain organized records of prospects, contacts, opportunities, next steps, and outcomes.
    • Work toward mutually established development and revenue goals while ensuring all activities remain consistent with NOMV’s mission and nonprofit status.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, marketing, communications, business, public relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Approximately 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, marketing, communications, sales, partnerships, or a related area preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Comfortable initiating outreach by email, phone, virtual meetings, and networking.
    • Strong organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with email marketing, social media, digital communications, and basic marketing analytics preferred.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a small team.
    • Commitment to NOMV’s mission and sensitivity when communicating about mental health, wellbeing, and suicide prevention.

The position requires someone who is comfortable asking for support, developing new relationships, and balancing relationship-based nonprofit development with measurable goals and outcomes.
