    About Cortico

Cortico is a non-profit committed to fostering constructive conversations and surfacing underheard voices. We believe that intentionally designed and intentionally deployed technology can enable communities to achieve these aims in ways that are more inclusive and scalable.

Our platform brings people together in recorded small-group conversations. Through a powerful combination of AI and human listening, this platform enables organizations to make sense of the conversations they collect, and surfaces community voices into public dialogue and decision making.

Communities have used our platform to lift up voices and perspectives in the selection of Madison, WI’s police chief and the election of Boston’s mayor. Local newsrooms have used our platform to understand citizen agendas and include underheard voices directly in their reporting. Global nonprofits are using our platform to elevate conversations on climate from around the world. Local non-profits have used our platform to surface experiences of people in the margins and amplify their voices through artist collaborations.

Cortico’s unique human/machine system is the product of an effort led by Cortico in cooperation with MIT’s Center for Constructive Communication (MIT CCC).

    About this role

We are looking for a Partner Success Lead to serve as the primary relationship manager for our Community Partners. Once an organization commits to working with us, this person ensures they feel supported, connected, and successful throughout our partnership – and that they renew and expand their work with Cortico.

This role sits at the heart of Cortico’s partner ecosystem. You’ll own the full post-commitment partner journey, managing a large portfolio of partner relationships while maintaining the systems that make those relationships scalable. This includes keeping our CRM accurate and actionable, driving partner communications and engagement activities, connecting partners meaningfully with one another, stewarding renewals, and helping surface opportunities for deeper partnership.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable managing a portfolio of trusted relationships simultaneously, maintaining the systems and processes that support partner success at scale, and stewarding renewals and revenue conversations that sustain Cortico’s work.

At Cortico, we look at a number of things when setting compensation – like your experience, skills, certifications, training, and what the role needs. Where you land on our range depends on your unique background and experience, as well as where you live. For this role, the estimated pay range is $55,000 – $70,000. We have competitive benefits which can be found here.

Our team members must be based in the U.S. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas at this time.

    About our culture

Cortico’s team is kind, collaborative, inquisitive and inclusive. We have high standards for quality. We help each other learn in order to reach our objectives. We think technology is best built by teams with a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. Every team member is a human first, and we strive to create a culture and environment that supports your career goals and respects all of the hats you wear in life, not just the ones that earn you a paycheck.

    About our AI approach

At Cortico, we recognize the complexity of building technology that thoughtfully balances human judgement and AI capabilities. We want to avoid push-button AI and instead champion responsible and responsive AI approaches that emphasize transparency, security, human agency, and collaboration.

    About you

These are not hard and fast requirements. Some of the best people we’ve ever hired have not ‘fit the profile’ and above all we prize curiosity and the ability to learn fast and adaptl.

    • You’re comfortable managing a large portfolio of partner relationships simultaneously, using systems and structure to earn and maintain partner trust.
    • You’re comfortable thinking about and talking about revenue, and understand how strong partner relationships contribute to renewal and growth, sustaining our mission.
    • You’re a skilled facilitator and presenter who can hold space for a one-on-one advising conversation or presentations just as comfortably as a multi-stakeholder community gathering.
    • You’re proactive – you anticipate partner needs and act on them without waiting to be asked.
    • You’re organized, detail-oriented, and a systems thinker with a track record of managing many parallel relationships and workstreams at once.
    • You’re aligned with Cortico’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-centered practice.

    Responsibilities

    • Own Community Partner Success End-to-End: Serve as the primary point of contact for all active Community Partners following commitment — including onboarding, training, ongoing support, tracking key metrics, and running recurring check-ins — while working with partners on strategy for successful adoption.
    • Drive Renewals and Expansions: Own partner renewals end-to-end, treating each renewal as an opportunity to deepen the relationship and demonstrate continued value.
    • Nurture a Partner Community: Identify natural connection points across the partner portfolio and proactively facilitate introductions and collaborations that strengthen the broader community.
    • Maintain CRM as a Source of Truth: Use Cortico’s CRM (we use Hubspot) for all partner engagement – keeping records of touchpoints, milestones, communications, and lifecycle stages accurate and up-to-date.
    • Meet with Prospective Partners: Take first meetings with prospective partners to learn about their goals, and assess whether there is a good fit to work with Cortico.
    • Represent Community Partner Needs to Product Team: You’ll have a unique view of the goals and challenges of our most important partners. Your role will involve proactively advocating for those partners’ needs with our product team.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Partner/Customer Success Experience: 3-5 years in partner success, customer success, account management, customer support, community engagement, or a related role, with a track record of managing multiple relationships simultaneously.
    • CRM Proficiency: Experience using a CRM — HubSpot specific experience a plus.
    • Fluency in Renewals and Expansion: Some experience managing renewals or continuations of partnerships with organizations, including experience discussing value, scope, and price.
    • Presentation, Facilitation, and Communication Skills: Strong presentation and written communication skills, with comfort hosting virtual sessions ranging from intimate one-on-ones to larger group convenings.
    • Organization and Follow-Through: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and relationships at once without dropping the ball.
