Temporary Part Time, 20hrs per week
Employment Duration: June 2025 - Ending December 31st, 2025
Salary $32.69 per hour
No benefits, PTO or Holiday Pay
Role and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Assistant will aid our Senior Marketing Communications Specialist in executing our marketing deliverables, with main projects including our blog, three monthly newsletters, curating content, and managing our social media.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 2+ years in marketing and communications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing and communications or similar transferable certifications
Required Skills:
- Must be comfortable with social media platforms
- Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram
- LinkedIn knowledge is a plus
- Experience in copy writing
- Experience in photography
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DSLR camera and shooting in RAW image format
Additional Notes:
This is a hybrid role, consisting of at least one day part time working on site at the food bank in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of South Seattle.
