Crushing Colonialism is a small, but growing Indigenous founded and operated non-profit organization (501c3) based in the so-called US that uses traditional Indigenous storytelling as a tool to honor and uplift Indigeneity. We’re currently looking for a part-time Webmaster for 10-15 hours a month for $500 USD monthly. This is a remote position so you must have reliable access to the internet. Requested activities should have a quick turnaround, to be completed within 2 business days. Communications (Signal, email) should be responded to within 36 hours during working days.
The Webmaster oversees all aspects of Crushing Colonialism’s website, including the shop, ensuring it is updated, secure, accessible, culturally respectful, and fully functional. This role supports mission-aligned communication by maintaining the site’s technical performance and content while upholding Indigenous perspectives, accessibility principles, language justice, and community-centered practices. The Webmaster works collaboratively with Communications, Development, Programs, and Leadership teams in a remote, cross-border environment, regularly engaging with Indigenous, disabled, Two-Spirit, queer, and multiply marginalized communities.
