    Descrição

    The Case Manager provides compassionate, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented support to women living in transitional housing in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. This role partners with program participants to strengthen stability, secure permanent housing, pursue employment, and build the skills and confidence needed for long-term independence. The Case Manager serves as both advocate and accountability partner, offering individualized case management while contributing to a collaborative, values-driven program team. This position works across all Jubilee Women’s Center housing sites and plays an active role in daily community life and other important programming.

    Benefits

    Full Time, non-exempt (base salary, overtime eligible)

    Base Salary Range (overtime eligible): $60,000 – 69,000 (depending on experience)

    Flexible work hours: 35 hours per week (minimum), one work from home day per month

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    Direct Participant Support

    • Maintain a caseload of up to 33 program participants, with support intensity varying by program stage and individual need.
    • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and collaborate with participants to develop individualized short- and long-term goals aligned with Jubilee program tiers.
    • Provide ongoing case management, including service coordination, referrals, advocacy, and follow-up.
    • Support participants with job readiness activities such as resume development, cover letters, applications, and job search strategies.
    • Assist participants in navigating housing systems, employment pathways, benefits, and community resources.
    • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, problem solving, and conflict mediation when needed, including supporting colleagues during higher-acuity situations.
    • Offer structured follow-up and connection to former participants as appropriate.
    • Provide new participant orientation and ongoing education related to program expectations, community living, and available resources.
    • Maintain working knowledge of the Program Participant Handbook, and other policies that impact or govern the program and/or participants.
    • Provide clear, consistent feedback and follow through on program expectations when guidelines are not met.
    • Model professional boundaries, ethical practice, and trauma-informed care at all times.
    • Other duties as assigned, in support of the program and participants.

    Community and Program Engagement

    • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive community environment grounded in dignity, accountability, and mutual respect.
    • Support house meetings, community meals, volunteer engagement, tours, and program events as needed.
    • Collaborate with the Jubilee program team to develop and implement value-add programming focused on self-care, emotional intelligence, community contribution, and personal stability.
    • Work closely with community partners to maintain referral pathways and strengthen external resource networks.
    • Support participant-led systems such as house guidelines, shared responsibilities, and self-managed community areas.

    Administrative Duties

    • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential case notes and participant records.
    • Complete and monitor assessments, goal plans, and progress documentation.
    • Track outcomes and significant milestones in alignment with program requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding participant needs, risks, and progress.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong alignment with Jubilee Women’s Center’s mission and values.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with women experiencing housing instability, trauma, and systemic barriers.
    • Excellent administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Cultural humility and sensitivity to racial, cultural, socioeconomic, gender, sexual identity, and ability diversity.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least three years of adult case management experience, required. Direct experience with case managing marginalized or unstably housed people, desired.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, desired.
    • Experience supporting individuals with employment preparation and job search activities, desired.
    • Housing program experience preferred, including familiarity with Seattle and King County housing systems and fair housing practices.
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and ability to use personal vehicle for work-related travel as needed.
