Program: Exploring STEAM Together: A Multigenerational Journey Through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math
Duration: 4 Weeks (July 7 – August 1, 2025)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Compensation: $25 per hour
Location: Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF) & Field Trip Sites
Position Overview
The Summer Quest Co-Facilitator will work directly alongside the lead instructor to implement an engaging and culturally responsive STEAM and Math curriculum for middle school students. This role serves as the secondary classroom facilitator, ensuring students receive personalized support while also helping to create an interactive and inclusive learning environment. In addition to co-facilitating lessons, this individual will provide mentorship, support family engagement, assist with curriculum adaptation, and contribute to the overall success of the program.
This position is ideal for an educator, graduate student, or experienced youth development professional with a passion for STEAM education, youth empowerment, and culturally responsive teaching.
