Call for Consultants: Global Roster of Early Childhood Development and Education Experts

Childhood Education International (CE International) is a global consulting service organization focused on strengthening systems that support the education and wellbeing of young children. We are currently seeking qualified candidates who are interested in joining our global consultant roster. Our work takes place in locations around the world to advance policy initiatives, strengthen systems, elevate teacher professional learning, and ensure quality interventions and programs. We work in partnership with local communities to address education and related systems challenges with co-created solutions that are grounded in the importance of quality and inclusive early childhood development (ECD), education, and care. We view all challenges as opportunities to build a strong foundation for young children’s development.

Description

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our global roster of consultants with technical expertise in ECD as foundational to child wellbeing, education, and lifelong learning. Our consultants are an essential component of Childhood Education International’s team for upcoming project opportunities.

Candidates with significant expertise in child rights, holistic development, early intervention, early childhood education, disability inclusion, socio-emotional learning, inclusive education, health, nutrition, child protection, education in emergencies and displacement, systems strengthening, curriculum design, or other areas critical to child wellbeing, education, and lifelong learning are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates also possess project implementation skills which include program design, project management, adult learning methods, quality assurance, education technology, stakeholder mapping and engagement, participatory research, and monitoring and evaluation.

Proficiency in English is required and proficiency in at least one of the six U.N. official languages is a plus but not required. (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish).

As projects become available we match consultants on our roster with projects.

Position Details:

• Assignment: Dependent upon consultant alignment with upcoming opportunities
• Duration: Your CV/resume will be kept on file for up to 2 years.
• Location: Dependent on assignment. Most consulting opportunities with CE International are remote. Travel may be required.
• Responsibilities: Serve as a Project Lead or a supporting technical expert commensurate with project scope and designated through the project contract.
• Qualifications: Masters-level degree and/or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Development or Education or related degrees such as maternal and child health, developmental psychology, social work, public policy, or international development.
• Compensation: Rates of pay for consultants are based upon a fair, competitive project scope and budget.
