Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN) is seeking a full-time 10,000 Redwoods! Program Manager to lead and grow a community-based redwood reforestation initiative focused on carbon capture, ecosystem restoration, and climate resilience. The goal of the project is to inspire and engage the public to take hands-on action to slow climate disruption through planting of thousands of redwood trees.
This position offers a unique opportunity to manage a hands-on conservation program while working within an established environmental organization with decades of advocacy, scientific expertise, and grassroots impact.

Position Overview
The 10,000 Redwoods! Program Manager will lead all aspects of the 10,000 Redwoods! Program, a community-driven reforestation initiative designed to expand redwood forests as a nature-based climate solution.
The Program Manager will oversee identifying and developing partnerships with landowners, nursery collaboration, planting projects, volunteer engagement, fundraising support, and program evaluation. This role combines program leadership, outreach, fieldwork, and strategic development.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, comparable to similar nonprofit organizations. The salary range for this position is $68,000 – $75,000
Location and Schedule
Location: Olema, California
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
