    Overview:

    Join a dynamic group of professionals and administrators to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

    The Mount Sinai Parenting Center’s mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early childhood development within everyday healthcare interactions. We create trainings, curricula, videos, and resources for providers to use in healthcare moments with the goal of providing parents with the tools they need to foster optimal social, emotional and cognitive development in their children 0-5 years old.

    Key Responsibilities:

    This role provides essential administrative, operational, and coordination support that helps advance the Parenting Center’s mission across program engagement and communications, research activities, stakeholder engagement, and day-to-day operations. The position plays an important role in supporting the team’s work to reach families, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the smooth execution of core projects and organizational priorities.

    • Assisting leadership with developing presentations, workshops, posters, papers, and related materials that advance the science of early childhood development to various audiences
    • Providing live logistical support and administrative coordination for conferences, presentations, and events, both virtual and in-person
    • Contributing to team program engagement and recruitment efforts, and ensuring responsive direct support for programs and users
    • Supporting focused and productive meetings and discussions through agenda development, facilitation support, and follow up
    • Providing administrative coordination as needed for research and program evaluation activities, including coordinating with key collaborators and managing IRB submissions
    • Fulfilling key operational and administrative functions supporting finance, vendor and partner contracts processing, and office management

    Required Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
    • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, with proficiency preferred in Powerpoint / Google Slides and Excel / Google Sheets.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading
    • Excellent organization and time-management skills
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

      • Project management tools like Monday.com

    Compensation

    The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $27 - $30 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
