Community Organizer (Project/Full Time)
The North Carolina Association of Educators seeks disciplined and committed staff to fill the position of Community Organizer to support the implementation of NCAE’s community power building work. The Community Organizer will work with local affiliate (s) to teach and support member leaders on identifying and building power within their schools and in their broader community - with parents, religious, community, political and social institutions.
This position will work closely with members, local leadership, and the organizing teams while reporting directly to an Organizing Manager. This is a bargaining unit position.
Location: Buncombe/Asheville, NC
