POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Advancement Specialist
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)
Reports to: AVP of Community Engagement and Advancement
Job Description
The Advancement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the success of the Council’s fundraising efforts through the coordination of annual giving initiatives and overall donor database management. This role will be vital to the execution of fundraising campaigns that support donor prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. The Advancement Specialist also contributes to the success of fundraising events and corporate sponsorship efforts by helping to build meaningful relationships and generate support for the Council’s mission.

Compensation
The Cultural Council offers a competitive compensation package with benefits. The salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000.

The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is the only organization solely dedicated to supporting arts and culture in The Palm Beaches, Florida’s Cultural Capital®. In its sustaining effort to foster growth of the cultural sector, the Council provides support services to cultural organizations and creative professionals, administers public and private grant programs, advocates for cultural funding, enhances local arts education, and promotes cultural tourism.
