ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Associate of Affordable Housing and Consumer Empowerment is a dynamic position designed for someone passionate about mission driven initiatives and operational excellence. This role supports the Affordable Housing and Consumer Empowerment Team in the development and implementation of initiatives that advance affordable housing opportunities, support resident stability, and foster economic mobility.
The Associate will have a particular focus on grant implementation and oversight and will play a key role in reporting and analysis. The Associate will support and engage with housing counseling and resident service staff, helping to cultivate and facilitate discussion among these stakeholder groups and advance programmatic efforts.
The Associate will also have the opportunity to work on the development and implementation of new programs, working with HPN member staff and stakeholders to refine ideas, set and manage project timelines, and ensure effective implementation.

This fully remote position reports to the Director of Housing Counseling and Homeownership.

LOCATION
HPN is a remote company. Employees may work from anywhere in the contiguous 48 states while staying fully engaged with their team and the broader company through virtual collaboration tools and regular online meetings. Occasional travel is required for in-person meetings, conferences, or team-building events to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with key initiatives. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work from their home, have a dedicated office, and be comfortable balancing virtual communication with the ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
COMPENSATION
Salary: $67,200 (min)-$84,000 (mid). Commensurate with education and experience with a bonus potential.
