Internship Opportunity: Make a Difference in our Communities!

Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.

Activities on the program include the following.

• Leading workshops and school campaigns to teach rural communities about human rights while speaking out against child marriage and domestic violence.
• Helping local staff track human rights cases, spotting abuses, and gathering data on issues like child trafficking and unfair treatment by officials.
• Supporting mediation and dispute resolution for families while helping survivors of domestic abuse find the services they need.
• Diving into legal topics and writing reports on human rights violations to help lawyers manage cases and brief the government.
• Traveling to different regions to meet with chiefs and elders to tackle local human rights concerns face-to-face.
• Running social media, distributing materials, and organizing public actions to stop sexual abuse and harmful traditional practices.
• Managing daily tasks like filing case updates, drafting professional letters, and writing reports on recent workshops.
