    Descrição

ABOUT THE COALITION FOR STUDENT WELLBEING:

The Coalition for Student Wellbeing (C4SW) is a national student-led nonprofit seeking to improve mental health in higher education through advocacy, collaboration, and education.

    What Fellows Will Do

    • Identify a student wellbeing issue on their campus or in their state that they want to advance.
    • Develop a project plan for the initiative, from research and stakeholder mapping through implementation.
    • Execute their initiative with ongoing mentorship and guidance from C4SW leadership and Advisory Board members.
    • Connect with a national network of peer fellows working on similar efforts across the country.

    What Fellows Receive

    • Direct mentorship from C4SW leadership and Advisory Board members.
    • A meaningful opportunity to get involved and make an impact on their campus and state.
    • Substantive experience to speak to in interviews, applications, and future professional pursuits.
    • Opportunities for funded travel connected to their fellowship work.

    Program Structure

    • Duration: fellowships are scoped to the initiative itself; we anticipate most run approximately one year, though some may run shorter or longer depending on the scope of the project.
    • This is currently an unpaid fellowship opportunity.

    Eligibility

    • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a U.S. college or university.
    • Self-starter, comfortable engaging with decision-makers such as administrators or state legislators.
    • Able to commit consistent time to advancing your project throughout the fellowship.

    Instruções:

POLICY PROPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS: The Policy Fellowship is designed to help you take an initiative from start to finish, whether on your own campus or beyond (for example, a statewide or federal legislative effort). Describe the initiative you'd like to pursue as a Fellow. Please address:

The initiative itself: What change are you hoping to make, and who or what would it affect?

The scope: Is this a campus-level, statewide, or federal initiative? What would "finished" look like by the end of your fellowship?

Your reasoning: Why did you choose this issue? What draws you to it, and why does it matter to you or your community?
