CONTENT PRODUCER & VIDEO EDITOR INTERN

Diamond in the Rough is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing youth baseball across Africa through equipment distribution, coaching development, and international partnerships. Our goal is to tell the stories of the players, coaches, and communities building the game where resources are limited but passion is unlimited.

We are looking for a Content Producer & Video Editor Intern to help transform our photos, videos, podcasts, and stories into engaging social media content.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong portfolio while contributing to a meaningful global mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

• Create engaging social media posts using photos and videos from our global programs

• Turn long-form content (podcasts, interviews, game footage) into short highlight clips

• Help plan and produce storytelling content about baseball development in Africa

• Work with the social media team to schedule and publish posts

• Design simple graphics or carousels when needed

• Help build a consistent visual style and storytelling voice for the brand

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Comfortable editing video in CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar

• Understands short-form social media storytelling

• Creative and able to turn raw footage into compelling content

• Interested in sports, global development, or storytelling

• Organized and able to work remotely with a small team

• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube content creation
