The Marketing, PR and Social Media Intern assists with promoting our internship, volunteer and Fellowship programs; and, experiential learning courses of its partner organisation CIEEL India to international institutions and young students / professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day activities for one of the communications and marketing desk dealing with promotion of our internship and research programs as per program goals and target
• Build and maintain robust communications and partnerships with international educational institutions, universities, colleges, online HR platforms as global network partners, and other relevant stakeholders, to take goals of optimizing recruitment of passionate and quality interns
• Develop strategies for the organization support services to stakeholders,
• Develop and maintain knowledge products: website links, blogs, forum, social media platforms, Newsletter, any other products that is developed for the program
• Publish internship postings, and lead marketing and outreach campaigns for the program
• Represent the organization (including speaking) in events/workshops related to the program goals/needs for good.
• Carry out contextual market research and marketing policy improvements
• participate in other development communication tasks

The Marketing, PR and Communications intern will have the opportunity to develop and take the lead on several projects. This is a great opportunity for an intern to really make a difference at a small and growing NGO.

Candidate Specification:

Candidates should have experience or interest working in on one of the following fields:

Marketing, communications, PR, recruitment or management, Human Resource management, Business development, international development, education management, training and development,

Organization skills with regards to time and workload management as well maintaining written records and flair to communicate is key to success in this job-role. So ; good interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates should also be flexible, patient, open-minded, and have a positive attitude.

There is also potential for suitable applicants to progress to a 12-months paid/incentivised Fellowship position after the initial 6-month internship period.
