    About The Prospect Hill Foundation:

The Prospect Hill Foundation is a private family foundation established in New York in 1959 by Elizabeth G. Beinecke and William S. Beinecke, the late President and Chairman of the Sperry and Hutchinson Company. The mission of The Prospect Hill Foundation is to advance the human experience while ensuring the well-being of the earth. The Foundation has a three-fold grantmaking framework: program grants, sponsored grants, and matching gifts.

    About the Position:

The Prospect Hill Foundation is seeking an undergraduate intern (preferably a rising junior or senior) to further our mission by providing administrative and operational support to our staff and engaging in communications, research, and analysis related to our grantmaking. It is an ideal position for a student interested in a career in the nonprofit or philanthropy sector and offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of philanthropy. Leadership on special projects is also possible depending on the intern’s skills and interests. This New York City-based, in-office internship runs from September to December and requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week (the weekly schedule and start and end dates are flexible). Interns will be compensated $20/hr.
