The Trainee Experience & Community resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the overall experience of interns during their stay. We strive to offer guidance and assistance to ensure that the living arrangements are safe, respectful, and conducive to a positive internship experience.
This role focuses on collaborating with interns to help them settle in, navigate their accommodation setup, and find support when challenges arise. The coordinator will be a key point of contact for arrival, departure, and any practical matters related to shared living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Accommodation Coordination
- Help assign interns to their apartments before arrival
- Welcome them upon arrival and provide basic guidance about their living space and surroundings
- Organize check-ins and check-outs with a friendly, informative approach
- Encourage a shared understanding of how to keep the accommodation clean and functional
- Perform basic cleanliness and condition checks to support a good living environment
Intern Support & Collaboration
- Be available as a point of contact for interns if accommodation or interpersonal issues arise
- Clarify responsibilities around shared spaces, cleaning, and mutual respect (House rules)
- Support interns in navigating practical matters (e.g. small repairs, communication with landlords/service providers if applicable)
- Assist with conflict resolution when needed, working in a spirit of fairness and cooperation
Communication & Presence
- Respond to messages via the intern WhatsApp line during working hours (and occasionally outside of hours if urgent)
- Maintain clear, friendly, and respectful communication with interns
- Communicate recurring issues or concerns to HR if needed
Profile & Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Respectful and culturally aware when dealing with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Organized, proactive, and good at keeping track of multiple tasks
- Able to set boundaries while remaining helpful and supportive
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
Our Approach
We believe that the housing experience during an internship is a shared responsibility. While we do our best to assist and guide, interns are expected to contribute by keeping the space clean, reporting any issues, and being considerate housemates. The coordinator is there to support, not to serve, and to help ensure a respectful, functional, and welcoming environment for everyone.

Internship requirements:
- You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months
- You have at least a B1 level in English
- You must be eligible for the Erasmus program
