ABOUT WOMEN’S VENTURE FUND
Women’s Venture Fund (WVF) is a nonprofit organization that has helped over 28,000 women entrepreneurs build businesses over the past 30 years through loans, business advisory services, and entrepreneurial support programs.
WVF is currently launching:
- a new public campaign called Keymakers
- a digital ecosystem focused on women entrepreneurs and real-time economic insight
- a Fall fundraising and community-building event designed to expand WVF’s visibility, partnerships, and supporter network
We are seeking motivated students who want hands-on experience helping build a modern campaign and operational ecosystem from the ground up.
POSITION OVERVIEW
WVF is hiring two interns to help support:
- Marketing and visibility for WVF’s Fall fundraiser and Keymakers campaign
- Integration of AI tools and systems into WVF’s operations and communications
- Development of internal “second brain” systems to organize workflows, content, and institutional knowledge
This internship is ideal for students interested in:
- marketing
- communications
- entrepreneurship
- AI tools and automation
- media/content creation
- startup ecosystems
- nonprofit innovation
Interns will work directly with WVF leadership and contribute to projects actively being launched in real time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING & CAMPAIGN SUPPORT
- Assist with promotion of WVF’s Fall fundraiser and Keymakers campaign
- Help create and schedule social media and digital content
- Research and identify potential outreach targets, media contacts, and strategic partners
- Assist with campaign storytelling, founder spotlights, and participant engagement
- Support email marketing and audience growth
- Help coordinate visibility and communications surrounding events and online sessions
AI & OPERATIONS SUPPORT
- Research and test AI tools that can improve WVF operations
- Help implement workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Airtable, Canva AI, and related platforms
- Assist in building internal knowledge-management and “second brain” systems
- Help organize workflows, meeting notes, campaign information, and operational resources
- Support automation and efficiency projects across communications and operations
CONTENT & DIGITAL ORGANIZATION
- Assist in organizing campaign stories, videos, and founder content
- Help maintain digital resource libraries and campaign archives
- Support development of templates, summaries, and operational documentation
- Assist with online community and digital ecosystem organization as the Keymakers initiative grows
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should:
- Be currently enrolled in college or graduate school
- Have demonstrated interest or experience in marketing, communications, media, branding, entrepreneurship, AI tools, or digital strategy
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable learning new digital and AI tools quickly
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple projects
Preferred (not required):
- Canva
- Notion
- ChatGPT / Claude / AI tools
- Airtable
- Social media content creation
- Basic video editing
- Startup or creator-economy interest
- Prior internship, campus organization, or marketing/project experience
