The Advising Success Network (ASN) sits within the Research and Policy department at NASPA. Created in 2018, the ASN is a dynamic network of national organizations partnering to engage institutions in holistic advising redesign to advance success for all students, including Black, Latinx/a/o, Indigenous, Asian, and Pacific Islander students and poverty-affected students. The network develops services and resources to guide institutions in implementing evidence-based advising practices. The ASN is coordinated by NASPA, and its partners include Achieving the Dream, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, EDUCAUSE, NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising, the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition, the Center for Innovation in Postsecondary Education, and Young Invincibles.
About the Positions
The ASN is seeking two interns to assist with marketing and communications. Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited higher education institution. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for this opportunity. This is a remote position for the Fall 2025 semester with an anticipated start date of August 18, 2025.
The ASN Marketing and Communications Interns will work closely with the ASN team to support communications channels and online presence, assist with content management in the Learning Management System, contribute to marketing initiatives, and help with service-related operations and logistics.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, the interns will assist with all-team projects and participate actively in staff meetings and projects and other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned to support the association.

Employment Status:
Part-Time Non-Exempt: Non-exempt employees are those employees who are covered by the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, and are eligible to be paid overtime work in accordance with the provisions of applicable wage and hour laws.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. NASPA does not initiate, extend or provide immigration or work visa sponsorship for employment.
Salary Range
This position pays $25 per hour. The intern is expected to work an average of 10-15 hours per week from August - December, 2025.

This position may be based anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. This position is remote. You will use your own devices to engage with work on a computer, including phone, email, and video conferencing.

There is no travel associated with this position.

This position is primarily office-based with primary work on a computer, including phone, email, and video conferencing.
