Conference of NGOs

The Conference of NGOs is a worldwide membership association of organizations holding consultative relationship with the United Nations.

It facilitates independent participation by non-governmental organizations (NGOs)in a wide range of policy discussions at the United Nations;

It seeks to mobilize support for the aims and principles of the United Nations, with special emphasis on the contributions which NGOs make to its work; and

It convenes meetings of NGOs for exchange of matters of common interest.
