About us

The Perception Medicine Foundation is a nonprofit start-up/social venture dedicated to broadening our scientific and practical understanding of how the human mind directly influences the genesis, advancement, regression, and remission of disease.  We believe that how a person perceives themselves and their relationship with the world around them has a dramatic influence on the origin, progression, and resolution of serious illness.

The Foundation seeks and supports breakthrough research, thinking and tools for making “perception medicine” a standard practice in both personal and institutional settings.  To launch the foundation to a global audience, we have an immediate need to hire an exceptional Not-for-Profit Executive Director to join our team and build a world class nonprofit organization.

Our Mission

Building on the deep work of the fields of mind-body medicine, psychoneuroimmunology, epigenetics, meditation research, positive psychology, and other credible, innovative fields of study, we work with leading researchers to identify, develop, execute, fund, discuss, and collaborate on projects that deepen our scientific understanding of the connection between what goes on in our heads with what goes on in the physical systems of the body.

In addition to funding traditional research, we will explore linkages with more esoteric and less quantifiable sciences, taking a divergent, encompassing approach to any treatment or modality that offers reliable and credible indications of merit.  We are thus committed to thinking outside the box when it comes to addressing serious disease and illness, while remaining grounded in established research and scientific protocols.
