To promote the economic, social, and educational environment of Oregon's North Santiam Canyon. Implementation of the North Santiam Canyon Strategic Plan is the primary focus of the organization's daily activities. Originally developed in 1994 through the efforts of civic community leaders, business owners, and residents, the strategic plan identified needs in four areas: physical infrastructure, business development, workforce quality, and quality of life. The plan was updated in 1997 and 2004, and continues to serve as a roadmap for the organization's economic and community development activities.
