Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care

Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care is an independent, non-profit community resource providing responsive care for local residents nearing the end of life. Serving the mid-Willamette Valley on Oregon since 1980, we ensure in-home comfort, compassion and control for every patient throughout their remaining days.

Our vision is to help our patients live out the rest of their life, on their own terms, among people who care.

The first year of operation, Benton Hospice Service, now known as Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care, served less than 20 patients with a volunteer staff working out of donated office space. In 2001, Lumina moved into its current office, built with donations from the community. Palliative Care services were introduced in 2016.Today we serve over 400 hospice and palliative care patients and their families annually with over 50 professional staff and more than 120 trained volunteers.
