Project World Citizen's vision is to promote a positive and locally oriented demonstration of environmentally inspired, sustainable projects across the world. The Project World Citizen sets the example and leaves a legacy that is locally inspired and sustained for generations to come.
The first project begins with a computer lab built for the community of Banko. With the Ghanaian government recently making computer education mandatory for primary school, students in Banko do not receive a complete education due to their lack of access to computers. Most students have never left their communities, let alone used a computer. After discussions with teaching staff and local community members, Project World Citizen and its advisors have decided that a computer lab should be constructed.
